We are delighted to welcome Graeme Gooday as History of Science Section President for the 2011 Festival in Bradford. Graeme is Professor of History of Science and Technology at the University of Leeds, and Director of the Centre for Heritage Research. His latest book is Domesticating Electricity: Technology, Uncertainty and Gender, 1880-1914.
The British Science Festival takes place in Bradford from 10-15 September 2011, with an overall theme of ‘Exploring New Worlds’. The British Association for the Advancement of Science has previously met twice in Bradford: in 1873 and 1900.
